Helsinki Yachting Club is a network of international sailors that offers training for aspiring boaters to learn skills and participate in sailing trips and related activities.
The following points describe the key aspects of the network.
- The training providers are independent operators.
- All people in the network will benefit: the training providers will gain experience arranging training events, and the aspiring sailors and boaters will get fun and versatile hands-on training.
- The people in the network are international but based in Finland.
- The primary language of activities is English.
- The services offered are based on each training provider’s skills and interests. The minimum required qualification is the ICC, the International Certificate of Competence.
- People within the network share similar ideas about learning new things, safe boating, respecting the sea environment, and having a good time together.
